Extremely convenient - this is by far the best tamper station I have tried. Fits the La Marzocco portafilter perfectly.
By far the best tamp stand for a La Marzocco Portafilter. The weight of the product is perfect with the none slip bottom. The fit and finish are very good! Added bonus it works with the older style commercial bottomless portafilter it sits a little at an angle with it but once a funnel is on or the grounds are in the portafilters it sits Stright. With the new style PF it sits perfectly!
Just received the tamper station. Looks and feels wonderfull! Perfect match with a black Marazocco Mini.

Meine Tochter hat mir die Tamperstation für meine La Marzocco Linea Mini R hier bestellt. Ich muss sagen, ich war von der Qualität und Funktion sehr beeindruckt. Ich habe bis jetzt viele Tamperstationen schon gehabt, aber keiner war so gut , wie diese hier, und sass fest ohne zu wackeln. Ich bin ebenfalls con der Qualität sehr begeistert, wunderbar gemacht. Hands down the best tamp stand for LM portafilter. Extremely well made product. Machined very nicely no sharp edges. It has a perfect fit for the hybrid PF, the rubber base keeps it in place. I’ve been using it for a few months and the black finish is holding up very well not a mark on it yet.
It’s is all that I expected and more. Very elegant and well made. Perfect fitting!!!

Die Tamperstation passt genau zu den Bajonettverschlüssen der LM-Siebträger meiner Mini R und kippt nicht um wie die von der Fa. Wichmann. Sie könnte aber gerne noch etwas schwerer sein (s. höhenverstellbare Station von ECM) und glänzend/poliert hätte bei mir optisch etwas besser gepasst. Warum ist ein Klebepunkt im Innenring?

Zu deinen Anregungen:
- Gewicht & Finish: Mehr Gewicht würde die Station insgesamt klobiger machen. Für uns ist die aktuelle Größe der beste Kompromiss aus kompaktem Design und Standfestigkeit. Auch das matte Finish ist eine bewusste Designentscheidung, aber wir nehmen deinen Wunsch nach einer polierten Variante gerne als Inspiration mit!
- Der 'Klebepunkt' im Innenring: Das ist ein gezielt platzierter Gummipuffer. Da der Schwerpunkt des La Marzocco Siebträgers im Griff liegt, würde er ohne diesen Schutz nach hinten kippen. Der kleine Einsatz fängt das Gewicht ab und sorgt dafür, dass das verchromte Metall deines Siebträgers nicht direkt auf dem Aluminium aufliegt – so bleibt alles kratzerfrei und sitzt stabil & eben.

The machining quality is amazing. It's small, sturdy, and looks minimalistic, and functions really well. The only issue is my black version came with a small scratch, showing silver inside color. After spending $125 USD (after additional duties paid to UPS for final delivery), I had to order a touch-up paint to clean up the scratch. Now the total cost became $140 USD. I would've given it a 5 star rating, if it wasn't for the scratch.

Perfect fit with the portafilter and any spout attachments. Keeps the portafilter snug and level for distribution and tamping. Bottom is a nice rubberized material so it doesn’t slide around. Well made.
Nice heave quality and perfect fit for the La Marzocco Linea Micra/Mini. The portafilter sits and stays nicely in the holder without tilting. The soft feet underneath avoids the holder to slide or make scratches on your kitchen surface. So overall a very good engineered tampingstation where I hope that on the black version the black will not become silver fast (since you rub metal on metal) - time will tell
