Update 2: Design Approved - Mold Production almost complete

We’re excited to share that the design for manufacturing has been fully approved and mold production is almost done. The molds are expected to be completed by November 13, with prototype production following right after.

There’s a small adjustment to the original timeline due to a few last-minute design optimizations that will significantly improve usability and overall workflow:

• Improved reservoir handling: The reservoir now includes a slightly protruding piece on the front right - similar to the original design - making it easier to pull out and refill. In addition, this adds about 80ml more volume.
• Custom quick-connect water draft: We’ve developed a new quick-connect water draft that’s compatible with the version offered by Sworks for the original water tank. This allows you to easily switch between reservoirs and makes refilling and cleaning much simpler. The draft will be made from polished stainless steel and then connected via push-fit connectors to the water line.

These enhancements add a small delay of about two weeks but will make a noticeable difference in everyday usability and long-term reliability. We believe the extra effort will be well worth it.

Updated timeline:

• Tool & mold production - now expected to complete by November 13
• Prototype production & testing - mid to late November
• Food safety certification - mid December
• Production - drip trays, packaging, indicator pins, drain box, and water reservoir (end of December)
• Assembly & packaging - early January
• Fulfillment & shipping - mid January
