Yes. We have designed this both for plumbed-in and reservoir-only setups. The centered placement requires a custom drain box and reservoir which will come as part of this kit.

Some modifications are required, but everything is fully reversible. You’ll continue to use your stock full-tray indicator. The main change is removing the drain box cover from the original tray and attaching it to the new drain box. A step-by-step guide will be provided to make installation simple and safe.

3D printing is great for prototyping, but not for long-term durability or food safety. The reservoir in particular must be certified food-safe, which is only possible with professional-grade injection molding.

The new reservoir will have a capacity of roughly 1.5L.

While we’ll do our best to avoid delays, unforeseen issues can occur. If, for any reason, the product cannot be shipped, a full refund of your pre-order deposit will be issued. You will not be charged any additional fees.

Most of the cost comes from tooling (€10K),certification (€1.5K), and shipping/packaging setup. Once those are covered, the components are manufactured to professional standards. This is a small-batch, niche upgrade designed for espresso enthusiasts who demand the best.

If the campaign succeeds, production starts in October. Delivery is expected within 3-4 months after campaign close. We can't guarantee it, but hope you might get your hands on it before the new year.
